Filevine API Keys

Note: If you already have a "Vineskills" key for other integrations, you can use the same key credentials.

Log into your developer portal, go to your "Keys" page. Create a new key, set Purpose as "Vineskills" and enable all scopes.

You will need the following fields to configure the QuickBooks Skill

• Base URL

• API Key

• Key Secret

• Queue ID

Email your API information above to your Vineskills contact.

Filevine Field

Determine where in Filevine you want the put the print button field which links to the printable Smart Mailroom QR code page. We would recommend putting it toward the top of a section so quick to access the print button without scrolling.

Field name: Print Smart Mailroom

Field type: Widget / Action Button / Link Button

Note that this new print button will open a new browser window and initiate the print command automatically, so be sure to set the default printer correctly so you can just tap the enter key and not have to take the time to select the printer.

Scanner Setup

Your scanner will need to support scan to email functionality. This is very common for small desktop scanners and large multi-function printers.

Add your custom email address to the address book so that it's easily accessible on the control panel, display, or software.

Example: sm+company@vineskills.com

Vineskills Smart Mailroom supports individual emails of up to 50MB which can typically accommodate about 1,000 scanned PDF pages.
