QuickBooks Payments Preferences
Preparing your Products & Services list in QuickBooks Online
Invoice line items drafted in Filevine will sync to a QuickBooks invoice as items from your QuickBooks products and services list. Where applicable, your product list will include the following;
- Flat Fees - maps to an income account in QuickBooks and a "Flat Fee" invoice item in Filevine
- Time Entries - maps to an income account in QuickBooks and "Time Entries" invoice item in Filevine
- Expense - maps to an income or asset account in QuickBooks and an "Expense" invoice item in Filevine
Default QuickBooks Payments Settings
When the integration creates invoices for you in QuickBooks Online, you can choose to, by default, have Credit Card Payments on/off and bank transfer payments on/off. These settings can be manually changed on an invoice level at any time. Please let us know your preferred default settings.
