Filevine Payments - Requesting a Payment 3 Ways

There are multiple ways to generate a link and receive payment:

1. Payment Links in Filevine Payments UI:  In this video, I walk you through how to generate payment links inside the Filevine Payments UI. I cover two main methods: using the request payment button for specific amounts and creating a general payment link. It's crucial to include the Filevine project ID for tracking purposes. I also recommend that you ensure your team is responsible for recording payments in Filevine. 

2. Request Payment right to Project Funds (Targeted Link):  In this video, I walk you through how to efficiently request payments into project funds using a targeted payment link in Filevine. I demonstrate the process of navigating to the billing section and using the request payment button, which allows for both specific and open-ended payment requests. This method ensures that once a payment clears, it automatically posts to your project, streamlining your workflow. 

3. Invoice Payment Links (Targeted Link):  In this video, I demonstrate how the payment link on our invoices works with Filevine Payments. When you send an invoice with an outstanding balance, it automatically includes a payment link for the client, making the process seamless. It's crucial to ensure that the payment link directs to the correct account in your settings. I also show what the email looks like from the client's perspective and how payments are automatically posted in Filevine.
